How to check the SSRS Multi-value cascading parameter options

Hello, SSRS experts:

I have a specific scenario that I'd like to check all otpions in a multiple-value cascading parameter drop down.

1. I have one parameter "Systems" that has 3 options, "System A", "System B" and "Both"

2. I have a second cascading parameter "Parts" that will be populated based on which system you select for the first parameter Systems. It could be Part A1, A2, or Part B1, B2 or Part A1, A2, B1 and B2 respectively depending on if you select System A, B or both.

Here comes the Scenario:

1. If I select System A, Part A1 and A2 are populated and selected. This is perfect.

2. If I switch back to "Both System A and B" option, Part A1, A2, B1 and B2 are populated in Parts parameter. This is good. However, only Part A1 and A2 is selected. B1 and B2 are not selected by default.

As a result, even if users select both Systems A and B, they will NOT see the data for Part B1 and B2 because they not checked from the cascading parameter drop down.

This could be really confusing and annoying for users, if I have quite a few pamameters that depend on the first parameter "Systems".

User basically have to remember to deliberately check all options for all the dependant parameters in order to see the right data for Both Systems A and B. Otherwise they will only see the System A or B depending on which option they selected previouly.

So my quesiton is, is there any way to check all the cascading dependant parmameter options by default?

Or

Is ther any better way to handle my situation?

Many many thanks to you!

Tina
