Have a PC here with Windows XP Service Pack 3 where Report Builder 3.0 was working fine for several days and then started hanging at Startup (with partially drawn windows). It opens fine if I go to an existing report in Report Manager and Edit with Report Builder but hangs if I then go to create a new report. When it hangs, app uses one of the dual cores (i.e. CPU usage is pegged at 50%).
I've tried it with the ClickOnce app launched from the Report Manager Website, and the Installable version. I've cleared out the Report Builder folder from:
c:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft
as well as the 2.0 folder from:
c:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Apps
forcing the system to redownload the ClickOnce App. Checked server logs and see attempt to connect and then nothing. No errors, it just doesn't appear any more. XP does not appear to have the ability to Create a dump from the Task Manager. Not sure where else to look.
Thanks in advance
